Ginger Spiced Pecans

Delicious salty, sweet, and spicy roasted pecans.
Spice Mix
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. allspice
- 2 tsp. ginger
Glaze
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 tsp. brown sugar
Place the pecans on a cookie sheet and roast for 6 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
In a small bowl, mix together spice mix. Set aside.
In a large saucepan or stock pot, mix the glaze ingredients.
Whisk over medium heat until it comes to a boil.
Add the roasted nuts to the glaze mix. Mix and toss to coat until all the liquid is absorbed.
Sprinkle with the spice mix and toss to coat.
Spread on a cookie sheet and bake for another 5 minutes.
Cool. Enjoy.
